Family Mechanics Analysis

When you have a partnership, you have two individuals entering in a relationship according to the genetic and behavioral mechanics of their unique Designs. Once this couple has their first child, the whole energetic atmosphere changes, and this is the beginning of a Family – a group that operates in a totally different way than a partnership. If you have no awareness of how a family operates, what every family member brings, and why the dynamics within a family works in a specific way, it is very easy to fall into a trap of blaming each other and living in the atmosphere of conflicts.  

When we are born, we are born into a family where we meet conditioning from our parents, siblings, and other relatives. The family conditioning is one of the strongest, and it may be challenging to live out your Type, its Strategy and apply your Inner Authority for individual decision-making.

A Family Analysis focuses on the dynamics of the relationships of three to five people within one family. According to the Human Design System, Family is not only a group of three to five people, but it is an auric construct with certain rules and chemistry of functioning.

As a practical part of Human Design, Family Analysis can help you understand your unique Design in the context of being part of a family dynamics, and also it can give you mechanical information about how you condition each other within your family space. Applying this knowledge to understanding, experimenting, and accepting the nature of your family can bring you more ease in life, increase the level of your awareness about your life and others, as well as liberate you from unnecessary mental suffering that can accompany family life.  

During the Family Analysis session, I describe the mechanical structure of your Family, reviewing as well your individual Designs and their specifics, reminding you about the genetic strategies of your Types and your Inner Authorities, which can help you to respectfully interact with each other. We are going to discuss the problems and challenges that arise in your family, and we are going to look for solutions that you can take and experiment with. You are going to have a new perspective on the contributions that come from each person and gaps that can pull your attention and drain a lot of energy.

You can have one Family Analysis session, and a series of Family Analysis sessions (Process Work) can be also a good option to deepen understanding of your family dynamics and increase your awareness in this area, and to work with the challenges of your family more thoroughly and fundamentally.

Entry data:

Accurate birth data of each family member – day, month, year, time (!), country, state (if you live in the USA, Canada, or Australia), city/town.

Prerequisite: Foundation Analysis for each Family Member by an IHDS certified Analyst, if the whole family participates in the sessions (can be offered by the same Analyst); experimenting with your Type, Strategy & Authority for a while. If a mother or a father only takes the Family Analysis, prerequisite is the same: Foundation Analysis by an IHDS certified Analyst, and experimenting with your Type, Strategy and Authority for a while.

A Family Analysis or Process Work Sessions take place in a Zoom, take circa 90 min, and include the video & audio recordings, and images of your Bodygraphs. Time and space for questions are included as well.

Process Work for Family Analysis includes: 1) Areas of compatibility, conflicts, and compromises between 3-5 family members; 2) Chemistry dynamics between each two members of the same family; 3) Dilemmas and pressure that may arise in your family, and how you can recognize the early signposts; 4) Building functionality, developing Awareness and Trust, and coming to acceptance of your own nature and of those in your family, within the dynamic that exists.
