Long time, no see. This is what I wanted to share in my Personal Perspectives lounge, as my musing about one of the planets and its role in our life. This time the hero of my focus became Saturn. For Ra Uru Hu, this planet carried a feminine energy that represents a Yin principle. If we look at all the planets in our Bodygraph, this is one of the Outer planets, which means that its movement around the wheel takes longer, it stays in one gate and line for quite a while, and its impact on the humanity and world processes can be perceivable.

So, what role does the Saturn play for you? When we are talking about the individual Design, Saturn is your judge and your discipline. It judges your actions, both on the unconscious Design side, and on the conscious Personality side, and it reminds you of where your discipline is. Your Personality and Design Saturnian positions can be activated differently, but both will demand your attention and awareness. If you are not correct within your nature, Saturn is going to bring you punishment, physical or psychological, involving the nuances of the gates, and lines. If you are correct according to your nature, Saturn leaves you alone, which is its greatest reward.

When we look at Saturn in a global sense, and its role for the whole planet, this is a Constraint. When Saturn moves through a certain gate, transiting each of its lines, it brings constraints defined by specific gate and line, and reminding them of the necessity of a discipline. For a homogenized humanity, it can feel like punishment, or a limitation that they want to overcome. By staying in a specific gate, Saturn not only restrains human beings in this area, but it brings a long-term conditioning pattern for the planet.

Planets in their journey around the wheelcan move directly, or turn into retrograde motion. When they are in the retrograde motion, they tend to slow down the global, collective processes in different sectors of life on the planet: society, politics, economy, ecology, education, relationships etc. In this way, each individual is going to experience this effect. The other manifestation of the retrograde planetary movement is returning to certain things in the past, or pulling things from the past for you to review, remake, reprocess, and finally finish or let go, once the planet comes back to the direct movement. Saturn is not an exception here, and we are exactly in the middle of Saturn’s retrograde movement, transiting the 21^st gate. It turned to a retrograde motion on July 26^th, and it’s going to keep this direction till December 12^th. Only lines of the 21^st gate are going to change.

What is the 21^st gate? This is an Ego gate, a part of the Manifestor channel of Money, and it carries a tribal materialistic energy. This is also the gate of Control, Biting through, and a Hunter or Huntress. In the Rave I’Ching it says: “The justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference”. This definition tells us that here, the use of power is meant to be justified and necessary, and its goal is to overcome deliberate and persistent interference. It doesn’t say anything about aware use of power (Ego center is not an awareness center), but supposedly the use of power is going to be justified. Remembering that we are still living in the Not Self world with a lack of individual awareness and a lot of violence, the justification and necessity in the use of power may even not be there, – there are always those willing to bite through someone material resources, and it will not be just and fair.

So, when Saturn turned into a retrograde movement, it already was transiting the 21^st gate, 6^th line, and it stayed there till August 21^st. In the Rave I’Ching, the 21.6 is called Chaos. It has a blue line: “Where ineffective action leads to disorder”.  Any blue line needs time to develop this quality, and especially the 6^th line – the line of role model, aloofness, transition, potential wisdom, and objectivity. Here its name is Chaos, and it brings ineffective actions which lead to disorder. Any action taken without correctness is going to be ineffective, and because of this inefficiency it is going to lead to disorder. The net result of this chain of actions? Chaos. This is what brings the incorrect 6^th line into the world, the line under mutative pressure to be transformed, to come to a point of transition, and to make this transition. And by making this transition correctly, as innocently as it can, to show an example to others. We don’t have much of it now, and this is very sad especially approaching 2027, with its shift from the 1^st line theme to the 6^th line theme in the background frequency. It’s sad that for so many people, including 6^th line beings themselves, it’s so difficult to awaken, and the initiating time of the next era will demand nothing but correctness, awareness, and authenticity, especially from the 6^th line being. I have a 6/2 profile, and I feel these changes on the tips of my fingertips, and in the air I breathe. And I also see the world’s unreadiness for what’s coming.

Moving on with focus on Saturn, on August 22^nd it shifted to the 5^th line. The 21.5 is called Objectivity, and its blue line says: “The use of force must be based on impartiality and not emotionally motivated”. The 5^th line is a line of a heretic, paranoia, and reputation. The 5^th line cares about its reputation, and reputation directly depends on the practicality or practical solutions provided by the 5^th line precisely in times of crisis, precisely when it has been called upon to save the situation. Here, again the 21.5 speaks about the use of force, but the practical value of the way how 5^th line is going to use force derives from the impartiality and not being emotionally motivated. This Ego is not connected to the Solar Plex center, but current transit brings a collective emotional energy, through a channel of Recognition of Feelings 41-30. And because we are still living in a homogenized world, we might not have seen much of a practical and impartial use of power, and it was definitely flavored by emotional ups and downs.  

On September 9^th, Saturn moved to the 4^th line. The 21.4 is called Strategy. Its blue line says: “Careful appraisal of opposing forces to establish a proper response”. The 4^th line is an opportunist, influential in its network, and it’s very fixed. It’s still an upper trigram line, so it knows about the other, and it knows how to be social. Because of that, when it comes to a matter of control, it needs to carefully appraise the opposing forces, in order to preserve its influence, establish a proper response, and avoid burnout. But in the Not Self world, we might have met a lot of burnouts coming out of stubborn and fixed attempts to exercise control.

Now, on September 21^st, Saturn moved to the 3^rd line. The 21.3 is called Powerlessness. Its blue line says: “Where the just are condemned to a futile confrontation with superior forces”. The 3^rd line is a line of trial and error, resilience and discovery, bonds made and broken, and it is the most materialistic of all lines. This is also the anarchist destroying what doesn’t work, and is attuned to find justice. But this is the line of the lower trigram, and as such it doesn’t necessarily know about the other, hence it may be just but resiliently and futilely confronting with superior forces, ending up by being powerless, and withdrawing. So, we can see attempts to break from having superior authoritative forces, controlling our material plane, and becoming our own bosses in a material world. On a global scale, wars for controlling the material resources are continuing, corporations may lose or fire workforce due to AI development, and some employees leaving and becoming self-employed.  

Yesterday, on October 3^rd, Saturn moved to the 2^nd line. The 21.2 is called Might is right. Its blue line says: “The legitimacy of action is response to flagrant and persistent interference”. Again, we are dealing with the lower trigram line, unaware of the other side, and the 2^nd line is a hermit, natural talent, waiting for the call in its shyness, and despite its gifts can be a paper tiger in demonstrating them. Here, if the 2^nd line is naturally holding control, it means that it doesn’t have to deal with interference. But if the 2^nd line is busy with something, and somebody interferes (for once or persistently), this becomes a call to respond with the severest action. This is how the “might is right” quality can be expressed. In a Not Self world, we may observe plenty of violent controlling actions, on any level of relationships, and in many ways, it will have to do with the material resources, territory, as well as their control and distribution. Highly unlikely, will there be any justice in this process. In the homogenized part of the world, there will be those who claim control, and exert their “right is might” power, and those who will pay price for this. Will Saturn restraint someone in this process? Well, let’s live and see.  

If you happen to have an open Ego with the dormant 45^th gate, this long-term transit of Saturn in the 21^st gate is conditioning you to feel Manifesting aspects added to your Design, pumping up your willpower to control, to hunt for your resources, or prove your worth. So, here Saturn is going to play with your Ego, returning you to those aspects of your nature or past situations, where you need to assess your resources and your habit to control, and see where you need to let go of it.  

If you have a split definition, and the 21^st gate bridges your split, you can suddenly feel whole, begin to develop a tendency to hold on to this feeling, and on the long run it may deeply condition your behavior, sense of self, and decision-making. When Saturn leaves this gate and move on, will you feel the change in your body? Or it will rather affect your mind?

So, what does Saturn in its retrograde movement do? Personally, it returns us to where we need to deal with, work through, become wise about the matter of control in our lives: who is controlling us? Whom are we controlling? Can we let go of it? Can we establish our own Authority to decide what becomes a part of our material plane? Can we discern how much we bite off? Are we still hunting for something that we don’t need, but our conditioning whispers us to do so? Who is the king in our own lives? Do we need to prove our worth by demonstrating our capacity to control? What conditioning patterns from the past and from the mind are still controlling our life, keeping us away from our awakening?

Personally, for me, the Saturnian lesson through the 21^st gate is exclusively about learning from this energy, learning where I still have material constraints, what my mind considers as material constraints. It’s about recognizing and clearly seeing where my mind wants to control my material resources, and where I feel controlled by these resources. It’s also about seeing where my material fears push me to bite more than I can chew. And if I can recognize it, if I can learn how to rely on my body’s cognition in managing my material resources, letting go of what I don’t need, Saturn will leave me in peace, so that I could only watch the movie.
